World Card Making Day – October 6, 2007

Oh boy it’s going to be great here… I am busy busy busy trying to make a few super special cards to celebrate World Card Making Day… Here’s Card #1 – It is a Surprise Popup Card – the idea came from Beate Johns and Splitcoast Stampers!  This was TLC132 for you SCS’s!  I will be adding more cards to this slideshow… so keep visiting every day to see more ideas!

If you would like the card recipes for the cards displayed above, please click here:

The Surprise Elegance card actual moves back and forth by pulling the card top up…
if you notice there is a tag type card at the top of the card with ribbons… when you
pull this it causes the rest of the card to buckle upwards exposing a cute saying…
The Happy Birthday card says on  the inside You are one of God’s Greatest Creations!

Both cards were made with Stampin’ Up!’s Simply Scrappin Kit – Secret Garden… don’t you
just looooove those papers… mmm… the colors are always artichoke and groovy guava!

If you look very closely you can see I made a few custom card candy using hodgepodge hardware and stickers from the Simply Scrappin’ Kit… hope you all enjoy…!
