Host a Workshop

Because it is really fun, you can meet wonderful people and most importantly you can earn free Stampin’ Up! products and get exclusive stamps sets only Hostesses get!  Plus you get the keep a Stampin’ Up! catalog!

How it Works?

A Stampin’/Scrapin’ Workshop is an unforgettable event held in a hostess’s home.  You need a hostess (you!) and guests (your friends and family), a demonstrator (me!) and fun (I bring the stampin’ kits and a lot of fun ideas… and the really beautiful catalogs for your guests to browse through.)

For your first Stampin’/Scrapin’ Workshop, you need to plan for about two hours – 1 hour for one make and take and another hour for a demonstration and ordering.

It’s that simple… and best of all – I get to clean up the mess we make (which I promise will be minimal!)

I will even give you beautiful postcard invitations for you to mail out prior to the workshop.

Which stamp sets do you demo with and what do we make as the make and take?

You can use my Stampin’ Up! inventory to choose a stamp set to demo with – See the Hostess Planner Sheet, or you can order a stamp set (or two) that I will use to demo.  After the workshop, since you ordered the stamp set,  you get to keep it.  I am pretty flexible as to the Make & Take you desire to do.  The Make & Take is up to you – it could be a 6″ x 6″ scrapbook page, a card or a gift item like a decorated gift bag or box.  Nothing too complex – keep it simple unless you have experienced stampers and scrappers present.

What if I am not a Stamper?

Then we play with Scrapbook layouts and embellishments and I teach a class on how to layout your page better using the Stampin’ Up! products…  the make and take could simply be a special embellishment or 6″x6″ scrapbook page!

How many people should I invite?

You should invite enough people to generate orders so that you can get a good hostess discount but not too many where they do not fit in the location you are holding the workshop at!

What if half the people can come in the morning and half in the afternoon?

I recommend that we stay all day and play with the stamps and have people come at a set time – one for the morning and one for the afternoon!  Honestly you can play with these things all day long – what a deal and it’s better entertainment than TV!

How do I get started?

Just simply download my Hostess Planner Sheet, fill it out using Microsoft Word and then give me a call to set the date and plan the make and take.  Please call me at least 4 weeks in advance so that I can order the supplies for the make and take and you can fill out the postcards to mail out to your guests.

When do you place the order with Stampin’ Up!

The Friday after you (the amazing hostess) tell me (your favorite demonstrator) everyone has ordered and I have payment from everyone!
