Q: Is Rubber Stampin’ hard to learn?
A: No! With a little help, you will be stamping in minutes… from cards to scrapbooks to simply gift tags – everyone can learn to stamp! We even make it easier with premade card kits where all the measuring and cutting is done for you, all you need to do is stamp the image on the precut cardstock and glue the project together..!
Q: Stampin’ Up! Stamps are sold in sets… why?
A: Every try to match stamps at a craft store? It’s not easy and many times you can create a variety of different themes by simply having a set of stamps that match! Also by selling stamps in a set the costs are reduced – most stamps in the craft stores sell from $4.00 a stamp to $15.00 a stamp… – with Stampin’ Up! stamp sets you get 6-10 stamps in a set for roughly $3.00 – $4.00 as stamp – an the quality at Stampin’ Up! is much higher.
Q: What is the best way to get started?
A: Host a Stampin’ Party with us or attend one of our Stampin’ Events! Don’t forget to bring a friend – it’s always much funner to begin a new hobby with a friend…
Q: What do I need to get started – really?
A: With a few supplies, you can be well on your way to Stampin’ Heaven… the basic supply list is:
1 Rubber Stamp Set of your choice
1 Classic Black Ink Pad – For stamping on Cardstock
1 Black Stazon Ink Pad – We suggest this so that you can stamp on all kinds of surfaces!
1 Stamp Cleaner/ Stamp Cleaning Pad
1 Snail Mono Adhesive Tape
1 Package of Matt White Cardstock
1 Package of Assorted Cardstock (the color scheme of your choice)
1 Pair of Paper Snip Scissors
1 Bone Folder
1 Set of Stampin’ Write Markers (you can use these to color the stamped images or even use them to ink up the stamps to create different effects…)
These are the supplies we always suggest our beginners to purchase because this is what you will use everytime you sit down to create and it offers the most versatility and fun.

A: Once you have your beginner kit (see above question), then you can start exploring with the following:
A good Paper Cutter (we use carl cutters)
Reinker Inks (to color the white ribbon!)
White Ribbon (grossgrains, tafetas or organdies…)
Brads and other embellishments (aka hardware hodgepodge kit)
Scotch Brand Tacky Adhesive Glue (to glue the hardware to the paper)

A: Your order once places should arrive within 2 weeks timeframe. If you live in the Northshore Illinois area, Marie hand delivers your orders- otherwise you will receive the orders through a shipping vendor.

A: We supply most of the supplies at our stampin’ events, but we do have all our stampers bring the following to each stamping event so that we can keep the costs down:
